Orphans

I am trying to raise money to feed the orphans, medical supplies, drill a well and help the street children. If you would like to help me, the street children need shoes and clothes. These can be donated. If you want to help drill the well and feed the orphans all you have to do is purchase a shirt. Will YOU help me help the Orphans?

My shirts are $15 or buy 3, get 1 free. All money will go to feeding the orphans in the orphanages when we travel. Right now, they eat 1 meal a day. I am going to buy food for the street children while we are there, too. They live on the streets with no parents.

To purchase a shirt, contact me at kotasgo@hotmail.com or leave a comment here. We just got a new shipment in so don't miss out on your shirt. Please help me help the orphans of Ghana.

Water equals life

Here is a little story out of the book causelife

Food wasn't enough

Our Guatemalan partner traveled many hours to arrive at the mountain village of Chastutu. He knew a child there was close to death. As he made his way through the village he heard a woman crying from inside one of the shacks. He knew ha was too late. As he entered the home, the mother was holding her baby daughter's body with tears in her eyes. There was nothing he could except offer to bury the baby for her mother. But she was not ready to give up her daughter yet. In the end, she held her baby for six hours. He was patient and when she was ready, he buried the baby and held a small service.

This baby girl had access to food, but she died of malnutrition. Very simply, food wasn't enough. Food wasn't enough when dirty water caused her to get trapped in a cycle of sickness that eventually claimed her life.

every year 860,000 child deaths from malnutrition could be prevented by providing clean water.

There is a village in Ghana that has no clean water. I am trying to drill them a well. Right now they share water with the animals because of this they are very sick. They have stomach sicknesses. You can help me get them clean water by buying one of my shirts or making a tax deductible donation on my blog.
If you would like to buy a shirt contact me at kotasgo@hotmail.com

T-SHIRT GIVEAWAY

I am giving away 2 of my Africa shirts. All you have to do to enter is repost on your blog or post on FB. Leave a comment or send me a message to let me know and I will enter your name. Help me help the people of Africa. I will draw the winners on Monday, July 12.

Did you know more than 2,500 children die each day in Africa of water-borne illnesses?

Malaria kills more than 2,000 children each day.

Some children receive one meal a day.

Most people of Ghana live on less than $1 per day.

It doesn't have to be this way. You can make a difference.

Just a little update

My Dad's company is going to match what I have made. I have decided to dig a well in a village in the Volta region. There was a fire that burned the village. They do not have clean water so the people living there have stomach problems. The Volta region is where Helen and Samuel are from. Please pray for me to find a person to dig the well.

I am still going to buy food for the different orphanages. I am going to buy the food and deliver it when we go to get my brother and sister.

I have found an orphanage that needs medical supplies. This is what they need: thermometers, sugar testers, scales to weigh the new babies and vitamins. If you would like to donate any of these items you can send them to me.

I still have my shirts for sale and I am accepting tax deductible donations. Please consider helping me supply a village with clean water, feed the fatherless and provide medical supplies.

contact me at kotasgo@hotmail.com or send supplies to 505 Cave Creek Rd, Loudon, Tn 37774
